This year´s edition of  the European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) will take place online  from 22 to 26 June. The EU Commission’s main event on energy & sustainability hosts several different workshops and conferences around the theme “Beyond the crisis: clean energy for green recovery & growth”. Local sustainable energy events – “Energy Days” – will also be organised by public and private organisations during the month of June.

Cities driving the green recovery: boosting investments for local actions

The current crises has added a lot of financial pressure on local authorities. Now more than ever it is important for cities to match financial resilience with climate resilience. The purpose of this event is to present and discuss with European policy makers and city officials how the European City Facility can support local authorities to transform their local climate and energy roadmaps into real investments and help them transition towards climate neutrality.
