EU technical assistance as a multiplier for energy investments in cities
Description:
Closing its 4th call for application in September 2022, the EU City Facility now enters a second crucial phase, in which cities will meet investors for the implementation phase of their investment concept and sustainable energy projects.
Validated Investment Concepts (ICs) will now face potential investors for their full implementation. The EUCF looks at this upcoming phase with high interest in terms of investments triggered, model exploitation and policy recommendations.
In this session, let us look together at final results of the first three EUCF calls for application and what is coming next. Amongst the speakers and audience we will have the European Investment Bank(EIB) and LIFE Project together with investors and beneficiaries of the EUCF grants.

Background
The EUCF supports municipalities and local authorities to transform their climate and energy action plans into real investment concepts by bridging the gap between planning and implementation of local sustainable energy actions via the channelling of technical support.
