EUCF Project partner FEDARENE (European Federation of Agencies and Regions for Energy and Environment) is organising this upcoming March, a webinar titled “How to implement integrated home renovation services”. One of the invited speakers is precisely EUCF beneficiary from the 1st Call: the municipality of Olot from Spain, represented by Jordi Ayats from the GiDomus project.

Attend the webinar on March 15th to hear more about this exciting project and about the development of their investment concept!

The project

GiDomus is a joint application by five town councils in the province of Girona ( Olot, Ripoll, Banyoles, Salt, La Bisbal d’Empordà and Santa Coloma de Farners). The goal of the project is to prove its widespread applicability and establish a clear model that can be widely adopted elsewhere in Catalonia.

The GiDomus project aims to multiply the number of energy renovations of residential buildings, developing a single of One-stop-shop per municipality. This service will promote energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy in homes, give advice on the optimisation of energy bills and reducing household energy consumption. GiDomus aims to produce an approximate 2,4 GWh/year of renewable energy and reduce GHG emissions by 8.900tn/ year.
