Clean Energy Transition Investment Forum

rue du Fossé aux Loups 47 Brussels Belgium

The clean energy transition is key for Europe’s energy security, independence, and affordability. A series of transformative legislative measures have been adopted by the European Union to bring energy efficiency and clean energy solutions to every region, every business, and every citizen.

The Clean Energy Transition Investment Forum (CETIF) showcases initiatives that support the acceleration of investments on the ground.

Across Europe, cities, regions, businesses, financial institutions, citizens and communities are spearheading innovative projects and initiatives that demonstrate tangible progress. Sharing this knowledge across the EU is essential for stakeholders to implement alternative pathways to transform and finance measures for an affordable, clean, and inclusive energy transition.

The CETIF provides a unique forum for the exchange of this knowledge. The uniqueness of the conference stems from the showcasing of successful initiatives to finance sustainable energy and climate adaptation, presented in detail by practitioners to practitioners in a line-up of parallel break-out sessions.

Networking is key to the event, allowing participants to deepen their learning experience and arrange for actionable follow-up.

RegistrationThe CETIF 2026 is organised by the European Commission, in collaboration with the European Energy Efficiency Financing Coalition and the EU Covenant of Mayors. It builds upon the successful previous editions of the Covenant of Mayors Investment Forum, and the wealth of initiatives funded through EU programmes such as LIFE Clean Energy Transition, ELENA and InvestEU.
